Humboldt Wholesale is proud to introduce our new line of digital ballasts to the North American market. Global Greenhouse Lighting Digital Ballasts are top of the line electronic ballasts that fire both Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium bulbs!

These blissfully silent ballasts are highly efficient, producing very little heat. All of this while firing the bulb brighter, giving 15% to 20% more lumen output than a standard electro-magnetic core ballast. All of this because the ballasts fire at a higher frequency, minimizing the wear and increasing lamp life, 3 to 4 times.

This top quality electro-magnetic core ballast utilizes an exclusive "thermal chimney" design that reduces component temperatures by up to 20°C, increasing output and increasing component lifespan. Made using premium SunMaster components using high temperature wiring in a durable steel housing, this ballast is internally quad tapped for 120V (factory preset), 240V, 208V and 277V operation. All this, with an extremely quiet operation due to its internal rubber insulator and exterior rubber feet. It also comes with retractable mountable handle and universal detachable 15 foot socket cord set which is interchangeable with any HYL reflector.
